India, The country lends a great diversity in her natural beauty and landscape - may it be the snow-covered Himalayan peaks or the scorching Thar Desert of Rajasthan or the vast indo-genetic plains or the tropical southern peninsular. India is a vast expanse of cultural, traditional and religious diversity 2933km (1821 miles) from east to west and then 3214 km (1995 miles) from the Himalayas in the north to the southern tip at Kanya Kumari. The country is a vivid kaleidoscope of landscapes, magnificent historical sites and royal cities, golden beaches, majestic mountain retreats, colourful people, rich culture and gala festivals. 3 West: Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman & Diu, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh.

4 East: Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Sikkim.
